What are superfoods?
Simply they are nutrient-dense foods that promote overall
good health. Superfoods are packed with higher levels of
vitamins and minerals; have fewer calories and have many
antioxidants that can fight disease.

It has been reported that these superfoods may stop or even
reverse certain conditions and diseases. Some have had good
results with hypertension, diabetes, Alzheimer’s etc.
These 14 superfoods when used as a base for a balanced
healthy diet many find that fly-by-night programs and
weight-loss gimmicks are not needed.
The Ill-effects of an unbalanced diet are:
Tiredness, Mood Swings, Low Energy Levels and Weight Change
to name only a few. An unbalanced diet can cause problem with
maintenance of body tissues, growth and development, brain
and nervous system function, as well as problems with bone
and muscle systems.
Symptoms of Malnutrition are:

can lead to colds, allergies and mineral depletion which may
trigger a number of health problems including anemia.

sorely lacking in many vitamins and minerals, which can
affect our mental capacities as well, and cause
irritability, confusion, and the feeling of ‘being in a fog’
all the time.
