According to the dictionary toxic refers to containing or being poisonous material especially when capable of causing death or serious debilitation. Toxic Stress is just as debilitating as it effects both the mind and the body.
When I was little we rarely went to the doctors. You have all heard the saying (Grand)Ma knows best. Well in this case nothing could ring more true.
