How to make an ionic foot bath:
Here’s a way to make your own Ionic foot spa.
First, in case you don’t know, an Ionic foot spa is used to detox your body by drawing toxins out of your feet. There is some controversy about whether or not this works. And to buy an Ionic foot bath is quite expensive.
The basic mechanics of this is your foot bath, a place to put your feet obviously, and some way of mildly electrically charging the water. You stick your feet into the water; the positive charge draws out the negatively charged toxins from your feet. Hey presto, you’re a new person!
So, what do you need to build your own Ionic foot spa?
You need to large bowls, big enough to fit a single foot into. Two plain 9 V batteries. A couple of old stainless steel spoons. A couple of small alligator clips. Two lengths of wire, each a couple of feet long.
So basically what you’re doing is connecting the wire to the spoons with the crocodile clips. The other end of the wire is connected to the battery. One piece to the positive, the other piece to the negative. The positively charged spoon goes in to one bowl, and the negatively charged spoon goes into the other bowl. Fill each bowl with 3 inches of warm water and add half a teaspoon of salt to each. You’re ready to go.
Place 1 foot in each bowl and relax. Start with five minutes per day and gradually increase up to 30 minutes.
At least this way you will find out whether this is going to for you. And you won’t have to pay out much money for the privilege. I hope this helps.
