they are considered a super food.

Blueberries are packed full of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory,

phytoflavinoids, vitamin C and potassium. These things are good for your

heart, liver and will lower your risk of cancer.

These little seeds have been around awhile, but are gaining popularity. You

can now find flax seed oil as well as flax seed flour. These small brown

seeds contain an essential fatty acid Omega-3. They are said to have a

positive effect on heart disease and your cholesterol levels. Add to that,

there are studies that show they reduce your risk of cancer.

These favorite red fruit contain vitamin C as well as provide a source of

flavonoids, iron and folic acid. An added bonus is that they only contain

about 60 calories and are a wonderful source of fiber. They are said to

is an important nutrient for mothers to be as well.

This is only a very small list of foods listed as super foods. You can add

to this list; avocadoes, soy, green tea and yes you can even add dark
