Yes, you read that right. Regardless of what your past thoughts might have been about olive oil, it’s time to put them aside as you read this article because, accept it or not, the wonder called olive oils can indeed help YOU or anyone prevent different types of cancers, be it skin cancer, prostate cancer or even breast cancer. Yes, I know the doubts will spring up in your mind as you read the above, but ignore them for a while as you read the rest of this article.

You see, olive oil has a lot of health benefits that haven’t been fully taken advantage of by even the so-called professionals in the subject. In case you didn’t know, it’s now loudly accepted by lots more experts that olive oil actually promotes very good cholesterol (HDL), is gentle on your digestive system, prevents gallstones and even soothes ulcers.

I am sure you still can’t wait to hear about how it can help against cancers in general and even prostate cancer in particular, right? Well, here it comes…

It’s now accepted by experts that when you get olive oil that is in good quality, it contains lots of useful nutrients and vitamins and is inundated with antioxidants that many believe helps in protecting the body from cancer. Talking specifically about cancer, Baumann, M.D., author of The Skin Type Solution, in an article reprinted from Hearst Communications, Inc, by Yahoo! Green, said that olive oil contains at least four diverse antioxidants that can go a long way in helping to “neutralize damaging free radicals that can lead to skin aging and skin cancer”.

So – it’s about time to start taking olive oils more seriously as they just might help you prevent the cancer that you fear so much. Note that when you want to buy olive oil, you should get the less processed ones because they contain more nutrients if less processed – even though more expensive.
